Shipping & Handling

*Order Processing

North Georgia Trading Company ships merchandise throughout the United States via FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other truck freight carriers.   Depending on your delivery location and size of your order, different shipping methods will be available. Each ship method has its own regulations and shipping rates.  Shipping costs for orders placed are based on the weight and deminsions of the total order. Your shipping total will be calculated when your order has been placed.  All estimated delivery times are calculated on the day an order leaves our warehouse. They are not based on the order date.

Attention International Buyers: Shipping charges are calculated after your order is packaged, weighed and ready to be shipped. 

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by North Georgia Trading Company or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
 
Processing times are not calculated into the estimated delivery times.
Orders are not processed on weekends or U.S. holidays.

 Product Availability

Products sold are either "In Stock, Coming Soon, Pre-Order, Backordered or Out of Stock." Most items are in stock and ready to be shipped within our noted order processing timeframes. Some items may not yet be available, or temporarily out of stock. Expected release dates will be provided for "Pre-Order" items. Estimated "In-Stock" dates will be provided for "Backordered" or "Out of Stock" items. Please note that the product availability date is the date the product is expected in our warehouse. Processing time must be added to these dates. These dates are estimates, and are subject to change.

All release and in-stock availability dates are subject to change.

Upcoming & Pre-Ordered Items

 North Georgia Trading Company may from time to time display an item as "Upcoming." This means that the product will be made available for purchase in the near future. An estimated release date may not be listed. However, customers will have the option of “pre-ordering" these items for purchase at a later date.  A pre-ordered item is one that can be purchased prior to its release date. Please note that if a customer purchases a pre-ordered item, it will not be processed until the release date. The release date is not the expected arrival date for the item to your delivery location.

 

Backordered & Out of Stock Items

Due to overwhelming demand, a product may temporarily be out of stock, but can still be purchased. Please note that if you purchase a backordered item with in-stock products, your order will be shipped out separately. 

If you placed an order for an item that has gone on backorder while in processing, we will notify you via email of the delay.

Returns/Exchanges

Return / Exchange Policy

All sales are final. If you are not satisfied with a general merchandise item due being defective or damaged you may return the item post marked within 3 business days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, minus shipping, handling or other charges. The item must be returned in good condition, in original boxes (whenever possible), and with all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure full credit.   As long as the shipment is post marked within the 3 business days, it will be returned, processed, and you will be given a full credit.  All return shipping charges must be pre-paid, and are the responsibility of the retailer, dealer, and/or consumer. This includes any postage and any other applicable charges, which will not be refunded.  All Sales are final for custom promotional items.  All Sales are final for old fashioned candies.
 
To return or exchange merchandise please follow the instructions given below:
For Damaged Returns
With your original invoice or receipt, and a return/exchange form completed, ship your product back to our warehouse post marked within 3 business days of recieving your product.  Please Include Insurance with the return of the item. We are not responsible for items lost in transit. Please allow 3 business days from the day your package is received for your account to be credited.
 
Perishables: We apologize, we do not issue refunds on gourmet food products or perishable foods, due to health and safety concerns.
 
For Exchanges
With your original invoice or receipt, and return/exchange form completed, send the product back to us via Regular mail to the address listed below. We will process your return and get the new one out to you. We will contact you if there are any additional related charges to the new items ordered. You may exchange an item post marked within 3 business days of delivery.  Promotional Products and Custom T-Shirt orders are not available for Exchanges.  All Sales are final for custom promotional items.  All Sales are final for old fashioned candies.
 
Cancellation Policy:
We require that any cancellation be made within 12 hours of order confirmation.

$25.00 Re-Stocking fee for all orders cancelled after products have been packed and ready for shipping.


Orders that are in final processing stage, or have been shipped may not be cancelled.

The 12 hours cancellation does not apply to orders where same day shipping has been requested. In the case of a same day shipping request, all order must be canceled within 3 hours of order confirmation or be subject to the same restrictions as outlined above. Cancellation request must be submitted via online form.  Click Here to complete the form.
